Maya Greenwald is an accounting coordinator for Waypoint Real Estate, where she supports the accounting team with accounts payable, financial reporting, and monthly statements. Maya brings several years of accounting experience, having spent much of her career on the receivables side, and she is energized by expanding into the full accounting cycle and seeing processes through from start to finish.

On past teams, Maya quickly became a trusted subject-matter expert who was relied on to train others. She has a particular knack for reconciliation reviews, research requests, and tracking down the source of an out-of-balance account, and she takes pride in refining recurring procedures and finding efficiencies that benefit multiple teams. Maya holds a bachelor's degree in hospitality administration and is pursuing a master's in accounting.

Originally from Chicago, Maya attended college in Boston before settling in Colorado. A devoted animal lover, she has fostered nearly fifty dogs through Bounce Animal Rescue since 2019 and shares her home with her two dogs, Bilbo and Wynona. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new neighborhoods and seeking out a good meal or a great cup of coffee.
